Things go Wrong

Just because things go wrong doesn’t mean you’re in the wrong.

Just ask John the Baptist. Jesus essentially said that (other than Himself) there was no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet . . .

“Herod put John in prison, adding this sin to his many others.”

Luke 3:20

John was doing what he was supposed to be doing, following God’s plan and path for his life, and things went pretty badly for him. That stinks, but that’s just how life in a broken world goes sometimes. Just because things go wrong doesn’t mean you’re in the wrong.

God is still with you and for you. He’ll bring people and resources to help. He’ll walk with you through the brokenness and pain that you are facing. Lean into Him even when things go wrong.
